BACK TO SCHOOL COMMUNITY CARE DAYS
Join us at Vestal on August 9 & 10 from 8:00am–12pm to build community, take care or our school, and have fun together.
Come for as short or as long a time as you would like! Any and all help is appreciated. We will be focusing on picking up the litter and weeds around the school, taking care of the garden area, cleaning up the areas, pruning and trimming, and more!
Please bring clothes for getting dirty in, work gloves, labeled gardening tools, hats & sunscreen, and water bottles.
Snacks, drinks, music, and good vibes will be provided.

A Brand New Outdoor Learning Courtyard!
We’re kicking off a major campus upgrade this summer designed to bring nature, creativity, and collaboration to Vestal’s daily life.
But before the transformation begins, we need community hands to lift the first layer—literally.

Made possible by Depave and the Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership, and supported by the PTA,
this project replaces asphalt with trees, native gardens, seating areas, a willow tunnel and more.
We’ll be making way for a whole new outdoor space where students can learn, explore, and thrive.
The project has begun! Depave, Vestal families, and community members came together to start removing pavement on Saturday June 21st. Check the in-process pics below!
