Volunteer at Vestal!
Together, we make a difference.
Volunteer Appreciation!
Wednesday, May 13 during school drop off
Join us near the bike racks during school drop off for coffee, snacks, and some other surprises! We are so pleased to be able to show our appreciation for the nearly 60 volunteers who made the PTA so successful this school year!
If you volunteered at Vestal this year, you are invited!
Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities:
To volunteer in a role where you have contact with students, you must submit a PPS Volunteer Application.
1. Complete Training & PPS Volunteer Application
PPS requires a background check and a Mandatory Training for PPS Volunteers that interact with students. You can find the online training and info here:https://www.pps.net/volunteer. Once approved, the PPS Volunteer Application is valid for 3 years. The approval process can take several weeks.
2. Submit ID
After you complete the online training and your application is approved, you'll need to go to the front office and the school secretary Dollie will scan your government ID (Driver's License, State ID, Passport, or Consular Card). This allows you to sign in at the computer at the front desk and print a name tag with your photo on it.
If you're not sure if you've completed the training, check with Dollie in the front office, or search your old e-mails (under Raptor System or raptortech).
